How long does it take for stitches to dissolve, if they are in your mouth?
I have stitches on the top of my mouth...they are annoying...and hurt...when do you think they will dissolve..??
Answers:
a couple of weeks at the most, but sometimes they can leave some scar tissue that they call suture knots. It will feel kinda hard like a bump under the gum. I had this happen and I actually thought the dentist left a piece of tooth in there.
