Ways to cool down while working in a kitchen.?!
Question:
Ways to cool down while working in a kitchen.?
I work in a camp kitchen and when it's very hot outside, the kitchen gets about 20 degrees hotter. Do you have any suggestions to stay cool. There is no air conditioning and the fans don't work that well. On really hot days I start to feels sick from the heat and I get headaches. Your help would be very much appreciated!!
Answers:
Wet down a handkerchief and freeze it. When you're working in the kitchen, tie it around you neck, this will cool the blood as it's circulating and make you feel cooler. It should help with the headaches too. Put a couple in the freezer so you can rotate them and always have a cool one ready.
