What makes knuckles and joints crack?!
Question:
What makes knuckles and joints crack?
you know how people crack their neck, or pop their knuckles and all....how does that work?
Answers:
well there are little bubbles of air trapped between the tissues connecting(cartilage i think) the bones and by moving them at a range of motion that you usually dont move them, you pop them and the popping is the cracking sound, where does the air go? i dont know but thats what ive heard or the neck/vertebrae that could just be them sliding into place but im fairly sure the air bubbles is true for the hands also try not to do it because ive heard it leads to arthritis
