Muscle pain?!

Question:

Muscle pain?

been having dull dispersed muscle pain in my back. It spread from my neck and shoulder down to my hip and buttocks. It also makes my arm and leg feel very uncomfortable.

The pain is mainly on the left side of the body but i do get it also on the right side

following is a list of test I've run:

MRI of brain, neck, spine, and lower back and they all came back fine.

Blood tests including thyroid hormones and that came back fine also.

Other symptoms include:
-hand tremor
- muscle weakness
-anxiety
-minor headache with dull pain behind the eye on the same side of the pain
-shallow sleep.

Doctors seem that the pain is psychosomatic, Here are some of the medications i tried
painkillers: advil
deanxit (anti stress drug)
muscle relaxants ( norgesic, norflex, and legaflex)
antiinflamatory (xefo)
xanax (0.25 mg 3 times a day)
SSRI ( cymbalta)

cymbalta got my spirit up but i didn't find pain relief yet! any help or feedback is appreciated

Answers:

Patience and good record keeping. I went through a similar scenario. For years I was told most of my problems were in my head and that I had a host of things wrong with me. Nothing they did helped and it lead to depression and frustration. I finally did my own research. I also wrote down every thing I could remember from the beginning of time - as a child until present day. Every condition, every medication, every allergic reaction, every lab and test result. I found a new doctor and handed it to him. I also took the records from the doctor prior to him. When it was all looked at more tests were done and even the reason which led to a diagnoses being difficult was found. It turned out I have Lupus SLE. Lupus is difficult to diagnoses because it can often mask it self as other things and certain medication can also mask it. Unfortunately, autoimmune conditions are like this. What you are describing may very well be an autoimmune condition. Start doing some research and write down all you can remember and begin a new journal as well. Good luck.
