Can canadian prescriptions be filled in the US?!

Can canadian prescriptions be filled in the US?

i'm in a bind becuase i'm leaving canada tomorrow for the US, but before i'm given a prescription by the nurse back home, she wants to speak with the doctor who not in the same town....so can it be filled in the US if i get the prescription faxed to me?


Answers:

If your going to the US. The best thing to do is have a friend over there go and ask their nearest pharmacy if this is possible. I can't find anything on the web regarding this.
