What can I do to lessen severe anxiety before my doctor's appointment tommorow morning?

I have severe anxiety that's due to a really embarassing problem. See I started having digestive issues (mainly chronic constipation) 7 years ago. Also, seven years ago during the same time I started having the chronic constipation, I was told by co-workers, family, a few friends and even complete strangers that I have a foul body odor. I have tried everything I know possible to try and get rid of both the chronic constipation and the foul body odor, but nothing I've tried has helped so that's why I made a doctor's appointment. Like I said it is tommorow morning and I'm starting to feel like I want to cancel it because I have really severe anxiety and it's due to the uncontrollable body odor. When I was working I had a really rude co-worker make a nasty statement about me (the foul odor) and since then I've had the severe anxiety. This co-workers exact words to me were "Well at least I don't smell like butt!" She said this in front of everyone at work. How can I lessen my anxiety?

I have anxiety severe anxiety 2, I think it might help to look at the positive instead of negative. Think of it like this, it is a chance for you to rid of this problem forever and that's great news, if you don't go then you will never give your self a chance to get better!!! So look at it as finally being able to get help to rid of this problem and a chance to be happy again. Never be ashamed of a problem you might be having, everyone has problems, some people are just to self-righteous to admit to them. So forget those mean people and take care of you. Also benadryl helps to calm the nervous system, but don't take more than the recommended dose or it will make you very ill. Maybe you should take a dose an hour before your appointment to calm you a lil', Good Luck ;)
