Has anyone tried beta-blockers?!

Has anyone tried beta-blockers?

I have been prescribed Propranolol Hydrochloride for anxiety. I have to take one 80mg capsule a day. Before I start taking them I'm interested to hear of other people's experiences. Long before you noticed any results? How about side effects?


Answers:

The prescribed dose for anxiety is 80 to 160mg daily they take effect after 1-2hrs and last 6-12hrs, in slow release tablets24-30hrs.Side effects are normaly cold hands and feetand nausea you must contact doctor if severe if you are feeling breathless or faint you must contact your doctor straight away.It could be several weeks befor you feel the ful benifits from you medication.My best advice to you would be to listen to your doctorand go straight back if theres any problems good luck.
