What's wrong?!?!?!

Question:

What's wrong?!?!?

Yesterday I started feeling this weird...feeling in the middle of my back. It wasn't pain..it was more like..very,very mild discomfort for a few seconds.
Today I still have it...not pain..just alittle discomfort.

I thought it was from doing situps on a worn out rug [barely has any cushion] so I didn't do as many.

My daily exercise is:
40 minutes of cardio [aerobics]
40 minuets on the stationary bike
150 side crunches
15 leg lifts.

Is this to strenuous to do daily?

Should I do the aerobics one day and the bicycle the next day?

And..am I going to be ok? I don't want to get back problems when I'm older [I'm a teen]

So should I do the aerobics one day and the bicycle the next?
Do you think that's what it is?

And cutting it in half shouldn't make me gain weight, right?

Thanks! =0

Answers:

The same thing everyday is not good. Vary your routine. Toss in some light weight training instead of riding the bike. Do it after your aerobics so your heart rate stays elevated, then finish with abs.

Pinched nerves can cause these symptoms. It's possible that your form while doing floor exercises is not right, so it puts extra pressure on the base of your spinal cord. Also do exercises that build the strength of your lower back. Bent-over rows, and squats will help, are actually more effective at burning calories than riding a stationary bike, and will tone your whole body instead of just working the legs. Ask someone at the gym to show you how to do them properly, and get ready to feel really sore the next day =)
