Kids earache.?

A few years ago, a woman from Germany who was married to an Air Force friend of mine, told me of an oil that just a few drops in the ear canal and then stopped up with cotton will clear up an earache quickly.

Does this sound familiar? I need to tell my sister the name. Her kids get earaches all the time.

There are actually several oils that are supposed to clear it up quickly. Some of the most common include sweet oil, garlic oil, and Mullein flower oil. Although none of these are scientifically proven to work, i have personally used sweet oil, and found it to be nearly as effective as the stuff the doctor will give you. If it doesnt clear up after a few days i would recommend going to the doctor however. Good luck.
