My partner often has blood come out of his bottom when he goes for a poo...he refuses to see a doctor about it

He says it's just hemaroids (he thinks) & nothing to worry about, but he has it most times he goes to the toilet, sometimes it's a little blood & sometimes it is a LOT.
I don't know if this is relevant, but he always takes ages to go & usually complains it is painful.

What do you think it is?
Do you think I should really pressure him to go see a doc?

Yes he should see a doctor and very soon. It could be something as simple as piles but there are many other conditions, some serious and some life threatening that cause these symptoms.

Please book him an appointment and frogmarch him down there. If it is nothing but piles at least you will stop worrying and the doctor can advise on treatment.
