Should I go to the gym, run or rest if I have cold?!

Question:

Should I go to the gym, run or rest if I have cold?

It is above the neck, no throat or chest issues. No fever. I just have a runny nose and sneeze a bit and feel down because of this. I have been really good with going to the gym one day and running the next. Should I go to the gym, run or have a day off to recover? I will feel guilty if I don't run or go to the gym as I have been really good with that recently.

I have allergies, I get really bad hayfever in summer but I know the difference between this and cold and this is definitely cold and has not spread south of my head yet. I am worried that sitting around resting with let it get a hold of me. I think I had a cold before and ran it off. Obviously working out should increase my metabolic rate and help fight the cold off.

I am leaning towards a run right now as my chest is fine and I like not giving people germs!

If I go the gym I would feel all choked up in the stuffy atmosphere.

...I'm thinkings run. Can't decide! grr!

...oh and I had a flu jab last summer so I doubt it's flu. It's very rare to get flu and to be honest it's just my nose and possibly ears really.
