Can i get hold of my medical record?
i'd like to have accsess to my medical records and was going to ask my doctor but have been told they cant give them to you. i had hold of them breifly when i had a causearean with my 4th child and was transferred from one hosp to another and had to take my notes. i read some things that in there referring to some things that happened in the past that i know was not right....these things have been kept for me and its quite serious but i cant act until i get the chance to read my notes properly and make sure i got it right. am i allowed to ask for my medical notes?

Well its your record they should be allowed to let you. If they don't you could go to court and get something that will make them let you see it.
