What would cause your stool to be darker then normal?

what would cause your stool to be darker then normal? i feel normal? i do have ibs and gerd. anybody know?

so it could of been the hamburgers ive been eating the last 2 days. ok enough of those for now,i ate them the 1st day then had the leftovers the next

less water in the diet,long time block of stool in the stomach say for more than two days and certain non veg food stuffs at times
