Cracking those knuckles?!?!

Question:

Cracking those knuckles?!?

I have been cracking my knuckles, neck, back for as long as I can remember. If I do not do it at least 1-2x a day I feel extreme tension in my joints. If cracking your joints is not harmful according to some, then why is it necessary for me to do it so often, and so painful when I dont?

Answers:

it is bad to crack knuckles. when your knuckles crack for the first time, they crack and the cartilage becomes split in the middle, creating 2 plates. after a few hours they fuse again, making a bigger plate in order to seal up the previous crack. this continues to happen until the plate is a quite big. the pain is because the big plate that has recovered from the crack is too big, and apples stress on the bone connecting your hand to your fingers, so you continue to crack them. if you resist the pain for a few months of not cracking your knuckles, the pain will stop because you will have gotten used to the pain.
