Baby swallowing gum?!

Question:

Baby swallowing gum?

My two year old always finds my gum no matter where I hide it. Its as if he can sniff it out like a hound dog. I've heard that swallowing gum can get stuck in the intestines and then I grew up hearing that gum stays in your stomach for up to 7 years. Does anyone know if it is harmful for a two year old to swallow gum. Is this something that I should seek medical help with?

Answers:

I think you should take your two year old to a doctor. It's better safe than sorry.
