Will pain meds hurt me if I have a urinary tract infection?
I think I might have a UTI, I'm going to try to go to the doctor this week. I've recently switched jobs and now I stare at a computer screen all day, which has been giving me some awful headaches. Is it okay to take Aleve (my otc drug of choice!) while I have a UTI?

aleve , Ibuprofen, and other pain relievers in this category, can cause kidney failure if you have kidney problems already, Drink plenty of water and try the cranberry remedy suggested , and talk to a doctor, If your sitting at work all day, and feel the need to urinate, go to the Lady's room. Don't hold it in.
