I am having a slight pain in the left side of my breast. Why do you think that is?

Could I be pregnant? I stopped breastfeeding about 3 months ago. And I just had my period a few days ago. I don't have insurance so I can't go to the doctor.

Normally your breast show have dried up by now; since it has been three months. I agree with Katie. It could be more than the after effects from your milk drying up. You should not wait. Call your local hospital and tell them what is going on. If they cannot help you then call your local clinic. There many low-cost clinic around that are affordable. If the pain persist, and or starts to radiate down your left arm or up the left side of your neck or both. Don't wait get to the hospital. And try to stay calm. I'm not saying this to alarm you either; but women do not have the same symptoms when it comes to the heart as men do. And as soon as you can if you have social service department or a department of human resources in your area call them and set up an appointment to see if you can get a medical card for you and your baby.
