Drug Testing for employment at hospital?
I am starting an externship at a hospital. They did my background check and want me tomorrow for orientation. They gave me paperwork...nobody has mentioned doing a drug test. Would they have notified in some way? Or could they spring one on me in orientation? Any ideas?

Not being hired...just a student. My friend asked me to take a hit of her pot, I did. Now I regret it. I am not a druggie but I did make a bad decision. I don't even know if I will have a test. I was looking for good information not judgement.

They can do random drug tests without notifying you in advance. That way they get more accurate results.
