Physical shots?!

Question:

Physical shots?

I'm getting my physical done in two days, and i need a TB test, a blood test, and a gardasil shot, and checking for anemia..or anemic..or that thing where u don't eat ur veggies.

Do these hurt? I am very afraid of needles. I recently got 5 vaccines and they did not hurt a lot. Do these shots/tests hurt more or less than vaccines? The vaccines were just a little poke, but what about the TB test, blood test, and gardasil shot and the anemic check? And they don't need to draw a lot of blood, i think they only need a small sample, but still.[for the blood. test]

Please help me..do these hurt, and if so do they hurt more/less than a vaccine?

I am 12. TB test, GARDASIL, blood test, and anemic check.

Gardasil is the cervical cancer shot.

Answers:

The anemia test will be included in the blood tests, and depending on what you're having done, you could have between 1-5 vials of blood drawn (most likely just one or two though). You can request a smaller bore needle if you want, 24 is usually the smallest they will use on someone your age. TB tests do not hurt at all. They just make a tiny little bubble under your skin, that looks like a dot (smaller than a freckle). Gardasil may hurt a little (depending on your pain tolerance), but there are a lot of things you can do to make it hurt less. Rubbing the area can work the medicine into your system faster, and if you get the shot in either arm, moving your arm around a lot will help too.
