I heard it takes like a second... but who knows... that's why I'm asking you.

Depending where the bullet penetrated. Not everyone who gets shot in the head dies, many have survived. If major blood vessels have been damaged then the chances of surviving are pretty slim. It also depends what kind of bullet is used. If the bullet is high velocity which explodes into shrapnel on contact it would probably blow the head apart where it exits. But as I said not everyone dies from a bullet wound to the head. Hope this helps you.
