When having a mri brain scan how far are you put in the tube?

you go fully in, ie. your whole body goes into the mri scanner and the magnet which takes the scan makes a really loud noise, i suggest if your going in you take music and some headache pills as you are in there for around half an hour or more and the noise gives you a headache! good luck with the scan :)
