Do humans generally shed more hair around summertime?!

Question:

Do humans generally shed more hair around summertime?

Or is this irregular? I myself am not nearing age 30 anytime soon, but have noticed a slight increase in daily hair loss.

Answers:

I have a few questions for you, how much water do you drink? How is your diet? Are your meals healthy? Protein, fruits & vegetables and water play a major part in the health of your hair. As you noted you are not approaching your 40's, so I will rule out hormonal changes. I would suggest you modify your diet and get plenty of exercise. Exercise promotes circulation of blood and this is vital to our bodies. Also, what types of hair styles are you wearing? What hair products are you using? Do you use a low pH balance shampoo? Are you conditioning after wards? Be gentle on your hair when combing and brushing. Hereditary also plays a role in our hair when we age and get older too.
