Does hypothyroidism hurt? Can an 18 yr old have hypothyroidism?
If no to an 18yr old getting it what would cause my daughter to have pain in her throat about two inches above her sternums tip?

I believe anybody can be diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Some of the symptoms are:
Fatigue
Weakness
Weight gain or increased difficulty losing weight
Coarse, dry hair
Dry, rough pale skin
Hair loss
