What is the cause of sudden energy loss?!

Question:

What is the cause of sudden energy loss?

I just turned 24 years old. I am an athlete and have been athlete since I was 10 years old. I'm generally an active person. I run a lot, breakdance, and participate in a lot of sport activities.

Here's my problem: Sometimes when I initiate a sudden burst of activity like breakdancing or jumping in the air in excitement (as an example) I am overwhelmed by a sudden loss of energy that last for about 10-15 seconds. My body feels drained all of a sudden and my face muscles seem to paralyze. (ex. It is hard to open my mouth, can't move my tongue, eyes get droopy, and shoulders slouch)

This doesn't happen often at all and it doesn't really bother me but I first realized it when I was an early teen and I've always wondered what causes this. I've never had any aparent health issues or concerns. Could this be my first?

Answers:

There is really no way to even venture an educated guess about what could be causing this. It is not normal and so I suggest you see your doctor to find out what is going on. You can never be too safe when it comes to your health. Good luck!
