Question:

When I speak (especially loudly), my voice sounds 'tinny' and like radio static, but it's.....................

When I speak (especially loudly), my voice sounds 'tinny' and like radio static, but it's a problem with my EAR, NOT my voice. When I block my left ear (the ear it's happening in), I can perceive sounds normally. But otherwise, any loud sounds or sounds high in pitch make me hear a very high pitch almost 'screeching'/ radio static sound. What could this be? Yesterday I started having a rash as an allergic reaction to some medication, so could this be related? I think I've heard that ringing of the ears can be a sign of allergic reaction... but this is different. Thank you!

Answers:

I am not a doctor, but sounds like you have some fluid build up in one or both ears. If you smoke, it will make it worse. Give it about a week...these things normally take care of themselves....
