Why aren't they allowing flowers in cardiac wards ?
I went to visit my mum yesterday in hospital and took her a bunch of her favourite red roses, but when i arrived i was told she could not keep them as no flowers were allowed on these wards, i was so upset !!.
Why do they have this rule ??.

oh don't feel bad richard, bet your mum will appreciate some for when she comes out of hospital.
if we're talking about a NHS hospital,
they are doing all they can to keep out hospital acquired infections. they've blamed Doctors ties, visitors & now i guess it's the flowers, turn.
when really all it comes down is it was a mistake getting rid of Matrons that ran the Wards, like it should be, spick & span.
nurses now days don't want to clean-up.
