Can the common cold kill and infant?
i have a cold and im am in the same house as my little sister who was born 2 weeks ago.. i am staying away from her and constantly using purell but im still scared! can she die if she gets my cold?
Answers:
It's good to stay away from her, but most likely she would not die if she caught your cold. In fact she still has a lot of antibodies that she received from your Mom before she was born, and if she's being breast-fed, then that gives her even more. Keep away from her as much as you can anyway, you don't want her to be miserable. Have yourself a bowl of chicken noodle soup and I hope you feel better soon.
