Child is sick and wont take any meds.?
Help please my daughter is 5 yrs old and sick and she has a fever we took her to the hospital and she has a viral thing.She wont take any meds to break her fever and we have tryed to hold her down to take the meds she will throw it back up.Is there any other methods?Or better yet is there any meds out there that look and taste like candy??And yes we have tryed the chewable's also and luke warm baths.......Help Please.......

The child must take the medicine. Try crushing it very fine if it's in chewable pill form, or if liquid, that's even easier. Make a little "milk shake" with her favorite ice cream and mix the meds with it. Be sure it's just a small amt. at first to be sure she gets the whole dose of med. You can always give her more regular milkshake. This could work with any of her favorite treats that could be mixed, mashed, etc. Applesauce, peanut butter, jelly, cheese spread, juice.
