Mosquito Bite Help??!
Question:
Mosquito Bite Help??
I am a Mosquito magnet. I have been bit about 10 times in two weeks! I am using Peppermint Spray, because I read online it's a natural Mosquito repellent. (Because I am worried if I use anything with Deet, I could get it in my eyes, etc.) I use shampoo and conditioner that smells like Cucumber and don't wear much perfume. Could my shampoo and conditioner be making Mosquitos' bite me? If it is, where could I buy unscented shampoo and conditioner? Could I maybe take a prescription, of some kind to repel them? Please help, I don't want to get West Nile!

My husband has just the suggestion for you. Take a Thiamine capsule ,
that is Vitamin B 1, every day during the mosquito season.
(You don't need a prescription; but don't over do thinking if a little helps ... I'll take a lot. One capsule a day is plenty. )
He was a "mosquito magnet" especially when he lived in Florida. Hope this hint helps you as much as it helped him.
I use an unscented shampoo that I buy from a "mom and pop" health food store. It is made by earthScience and called pure essentials. Mosquito's do not bother me but I had never thought it could be because I don't wear scents. You could be right.
