Blisters??!

Question:

Blisters??

Hi, I have two massive blisters on my heels, the skin has peeled so its no bubbling, what can i do to heal them more quickly and to ease the pain??
Also, under my toes, in each foot, i have a blister, i can hardly walk. HELP!! It hurts so much.

Answers:

Prick the blisters with a sterilised needle. Hold the tip in a flame (match or lighter) allow to cool then pierce blister.this allows the water out.
Soak your feet in salted warm water this will help clean the infected area.
Put on 2 pairs of cotton socks before venturing to put your shoes on.
However, the above does not answer your initial problem which is what caused you blisters in the first place.
Are your shoes new? Are they made of leather?
If we presume that the answer to both questions is yes there is a solution.
On the outside surface of the shoes on the heel especially rub in petroleum jelly (Vaseline) and allow to stand for 24 hours (this means you cannot wear them) then wipe off any surplus jelly with kitchen roll and put them on. They should almost be as soft as a pair of gloves. The trouble with new shoes is that the leather dries out and this makes it hard and causes blisters.
Hopefully your blisters will not take too long to heal and you can wear your shoes again.

I hope this assists your problem.
