Can i get a paternity test done on the nhs?

myex still makes sly digs about my son not being his after 8yrs an i want it sorted once an for all but cant afford the hundreds of pounds it would cost and he wont pay for it can i get it done on the nhs

he still gives him money but he stills insists that he is the childs father and is startin to make nasty comments in front of the child so i have stopped all contact even with the other kids who he doesnt dispute
