How can I adjust myself to sleep and rise earlier?!

How can I adjust myself to sleep and rise earlier?

I want to follow Uncle Benny's advise. How can I go to bed and rise earlier?

For the past few days, I have been going to bed at about 1:00-2:00, and have been waking up like 11:00-11:30!

So, if I try going to bed early tonight, I wouldn't be able to, becasue I woke up so late today! And if I try to wake up early tommorow, I will not be able to, becouse I went to bed so late!

Alarm clocks won't wake me up at 7 am, because I tried and it wasn't working. I must've been in those rem deep modes. I cant take sleeping pills because I am only 13. The 'warmed milk' doesn't help me- it just gives me a lactose intoelrand upset stomach. Nobody in my house can wake me up early.

I agree with several of the other answerers. This is a task best tackled one day at a time.

Half-hour increments sound reasonable to me. To give yourself extra incentive, try scheduling activities for the morning. If you're 13, I assume you're on summer vacation. Try making plans to meet your friends at a relatively early hour for breakfast. It'll be more fun to wake up and you'll want to do your best to not leave your friends hanging.

You can also try placing the alarm clock on the other side of the room. I do that and although I end up cursing a blue streak when it goes off, I do always manage to get up.
