Experiences with Paxil?!

Experiences with Paxil?
My therapist recommended paxil for my anxiety.I have been considering going on it. Could anyone tell me of their experiences with this medication (negative or positive) as well as the pros and cons to taking this drug. I have never taken anti-depressants before and was curious as to what they actually make you feel mood wise.I know of one lady whom told me that it made her feel very happy but she had to go off of it b/c it made her too relaxed and she just didnt care anymore. She also said it didnt make her gain an ounce which was surprising to me b/c I have heard the exact opposite (and to be honest the possibility of gain weight is one of the reasons I am considering NOT taking it). Anyone out there with a story to share?

I wasn't on it for long, because it made me have to pee all the time. Switched to something else. But reactions to this type of drug are VERY individual.
