ok, my friend (and i rele do mean FRIEND) said that when he went on vacation with his best friend to FL, he didn't go to the bathroom for a straight 8 days. he peed but not number two, I'm not a doctor, but couldn't that have killed him? (he wasn't constipated, he was embarassed to go poopy. so he held it)

No it may not kill some one but it can make a person become terminally ill because your body build up toxins due to this which can cause Intestinal Viral Infection that can cause a high fever body aches and chills and you become very nauseous and by holding it will cause constipation which can also shut your digestive and intestinal tract down which is called Intestinal paralysis and this makes your appetite decreases dramatically. If he still hasn't had a B.M. and has these symptoms take him to the doctor and If he doesn't show signs of symptoms then talk to his doctor about what laxative he should take to where he can unblock his intestinal tract and rid his body of the toxins before they do become deadly. And tell him to not ever be ashamed to go to the bathroom because even the richest person in the world has to have a B.M. its a part of life and everybody has to do it.
