Spider bite?!

Spider bite?
So I was down in my basement getting something, and well my basement has tons of cob webs. So I was reaching for something and some cobwebs got on my legs and arms. I brush them off and I go upstairs. I sit there for a long time and I notice an irritation on my, well......parts. It seems to be a bite of some sort. I don't know if it was a gnat, mosquito or whatever ,but it is a small red bump that itches. I'm freaking because I don't know if it is a spider bite or not. I think I would have noticed if a spider crawled up my shorts. I don't see any symptoms besides the small redness and the itching. Any advice or info. Please because I not only don't wanna be bit by a spider, I don't the bite happening there either.
