Chicken Pox and getting pregnant?!

Question:

Chicken Pox and getting pregnant?

My two daughters just came down with chicken pox and My wife thinks she may be pregnant. My wife has already had the chicken pox as a kid and is concerned to be around the kids. The kids both have had the varicella vaccine and both have a very light case of the pox so far. If my wife is or was to become pregnant is there a risk to the developing fetus or embryo? Any real answer would be helpful. Currentlt she has had no contact with my two daughters as they are at my ex wifes house and i can't bring them over my house because of my wifes fears. I do know that chicken pox can be very harmful to an unborn fetus or embryo but thats if you get chicken pox. Can an unborn fetus/ embryo contract chicken pox if the mother has had them already? thanks

Answers:

"Pregnant women who have a history of a previous chicken pox infection or who have been immunized have antibodies to the virus. These antibodies are transferred to the infant through the placenta throughout the pregnancy. Therefore, pregnant women who are immune and are exposed to someone with chicken pox do not need to worry about complications for themselves or their infant."
