Help! My 15 mo toddler accidentally ate a small (4mm) white worm that was in a cherry (yech!!).?
Should I be concerned for her health? What are possible side effects? What's the worst that can happen?? Thanks!!

These are the larvae of the cherry fruit fly. I eat them and haven't had any problems, but I'm an adult. I let my children eat them when they were in grade school if they wanted to, and they didn't have any problems. If you are worried, call poison control for your area and ask for their advice.
I doubt there will be any problems.
