My town water smells like chlorine, is this bad for my health to drink it?
I know this sounds like a strange question, but i do worry! ever since we have had very destructive storms here.. the water seems to smell like chlorine! Why do they put so much cholrine in the water!?!
Even when i put it through the water filter (Britta) it still smells.
Should i be worried?

chlorinated water is known to cause cancer .. in small amounts the risk is minimal , but when drank over a period of time the risks increase ,, I hope this helps
