I work for a shipping company, I set up drug testing for our employies and I was wondering how long after drug use does the test come out negative. What should i look for if they are trying to fool the system? What will they try to use to fool the test?
Answers:
There is no fooling the test. Smuggling in urine, does not work. You will get busted and be embarrassed. Purchasing adulterants does not work. They can be detected on the test, as well as you are just diluting your system.
99% of labs do not test for drugs thru blood. Usually urine and hair. Hair tests go back 90 days based on 1.5 inches of hair. However THC is very hard to detected thru hair because of the way it metabolizes.
Urine tests go back 1-30 days, depending on the drug.
If you really set up testing, then you should be able to ask your rep these questions. If you are trying to beat a test, you should just no do drugs. We catch people trying to cheat in our drug testing office daily… we love it!
