Does lifting weight at 16 stunt growth?!

Does lifting weight at 16 stunt growth?
i just started working out and i play basketball, so does it stunt your growth?
Answers:
I started weight lifting at 12 (am almost 14 now) and I play b ball too. However, I lift weights that I can do at least 15 or 20 reps on, so they're not that heavy. For example, I bench 45 lbs, but I do so in 20-25 reps and 2 sets.
