Do I need to be with an adult when I go to an appointment at a dermatology offic!
Question:
Do I need to be with an adult when I go to an appointment at a dermatology office?
I'm seventeen and I need to see a dermatologist because of a burn incident and I am planning on going by myself because my mother for some strange reason resents me and won't take me.
Answers:
For any reason other than life-threatening or reproductive issues, minors must have parental/guardian permission in order to see a doctor. Have your mother sign a consent form that allows the doc to see you. If she won't sign...you will have to wait until you are 18...and you and your mom REALLY need to talk.
