How do you know if you have high Cholesterol?!
Question:
How do you know if you have high Cholesterol?
are there any visible symptoms.
Answers:
There are almost never any external signs of high cholesterol. Very rarely you can get a coagulation of cholesterol appearing under the skin making a bump, but most doctors would say the only way you'll ever know is through a blood test. High cholesterol can run in families and it certainly increases with age. Diet is the best way to keep cholesterol at bay - keep away from foods high in saturated fats (dairy products, for instance) and eat lots of fruit, fibre and vegetables. Any GP will advise.
