Caffeine pills. Ingredients?

What is the difference between 100mg of Caffeine Alkaloid and
100mg of Caffeine anhydrous USP?
Is one better then the other? (There is a price difference.)
They both claim that each pill has the caffeine equivalent of one cup of coffee.
And what does “USP” mean?

Caffeine IS an alkaloid. Anhydrous (An =retaining -hydros, meaning water) is an added salt as a previous respondent mentioned. USP is the United States Pharmacopeia is the worldwide source for drug standards.
