Ever had a kidney stone?
Are they painful like people say? What are they made of and how do they exit your body?
Answers:
Nope, but my mom had a couple at the same time that were horrible. Her's were so big that one blocked her ureter ( the tube from the kidney to the bladder), and almost caused the loss of this kidney.
They can be made up of different substances, calcium, urea, to name a couple.
If they're small enough, they exit down the ureter to the bladder, then through the uretha (tube from bladder to exterior of body).
Sometimes the doc blasts them with a lazer to break them up so they're small enough to come through.
