My cousins INR results came back saying her blood isn't clotting as per normal?
she is currently pregnant and due to give birth in approx. 6 weeks. my mum is asking me lots of questions and i don't know the answers lol.
-is this just related to her pregnancy?
-what additional attention will she require during the birth?

Your cousin should go back to her doctor and find out exactly what the problem is. If her blood isn't clotting properly then this could cause some problems when she gives birth. Her doctor should be monitoring her on a regular basis, regular blood tests etc. The hopital she is going to should also be informed so that they are prepared to treat her when she is admitted. This could be related to her pregnancy but the best thing to do is for her and a relative or friend to go and speak to the doctor. Another person is always a good idea because 2 sets of ears are better than one. If your cousin cant remember some of the information, the other person will! Good luck and I hope this helps.
