When people get their tonsils out, do they loose weight?
someone said ift hey got their tonsils out, they'd loose some weight since they couldnt eat anything really...if this is true, has it happened to u and ho9w much did u loose??

i was 30 when i had mine out. it was horrible, 5 days later i started bleeding and needed emergency surgery. i wasnt able to eat for about 6 weeks, i lived on boost shakes and chocolate milk. took me about 3 months to heal and "eat " normal. i lost about 25 lbs. called it my tonsillectomy diet. (i didnt really need to lose the 25lbs, i am no where near overweight)
