Answers:
Depending on the body part being imaged, you might be asked to wear a gown. If you are having a brain or neck scan, you do not have to change out of your street clothes. If you are having a chest, abdomen, pelvis or spine study, you cannot be wearing any metal in the area being imaged (snaps, zippers, buttons, clasps on bras etc). In order to get around this, try to wear a sweat suit (and sports bra, if that applies to you). You are covered much more modestly and you are kept warmer than hospital gowns can keep you!
