Is my sandwich safe to eat?!

Question:

Is my sandwich safe to eat?

I just realized I left a Burger King chicken sandwich out all night. It was wrapped up inside the bag, is it safe to eat?

Answers:

Food should be kept at 40 degrees Fahrenheit in a refrigerator (around 4 Celsius) or below to keep it safe. If the temperature wherever your chicken sandwich was kept stayed under this limit, like if it were outside in your car in the wintertime with snow on the ground, it would be safe. If it were not, eating it is at your own risk. If there were any germs in the sandwich, they would have been able to reproduce at room temperature. Your body can process a small number of germs on its own without getting sick if your immune system is healthy, but if enough of the germs managed to reproduce and create more germs while it sat out, you could get sick.
Besides, have you ever tasted fast food when it gets cold? Yuck! Just get a new sandwich.
