How do I know if my food is irradiated?
Are conventially grown fruits irradiated to prevent ripening? Are packaged foods such as cereals irradiated to prolong shelf life? Are most foods besides organic irradiated?
Answers:
Any food that has been irradiated must have a symbol on it, indicating that to the consumer. It is called a radura.
