Am I ever going to get my voice back?
On Friday, I had a sore throat, sneezy/runny nose, and an itchy ear. I had little coldlike sypmtoms until Monday, when I was just normal but my voice was a little hoarse. My voice is now very hoarse but my vocal inflections (when my voice goes higher), I can't make higher pitched noises at all, and if I try I just emit a small squeak. I have never lost my voice before and since Monday I have been drinking honey but it doesn't help...should I just not speak?

Take it easy. Try to talk as little as possible. Drink warm tea with honey in it. Your voice will come back. Try not to force your voice. Let it rest as much as possible and it will get better soon.
